Questions
Which one should I choose?
WordPress and most PHP software need MySQL. Newer apps usually want PostgreSQL. Valkey is for caches and queues, next to one of the other two.
How are backups done?
Daily for every database. PostgreSQL also streams every change to our backup storage, which is what makes restoring to any second possible.
Can I connect from my laptop?
Yes. Add your address in the portal (it offers your current one) and connect with any client over TLS.
What happens when I delete a database?
A final backup is kept for 30 days, so you can bring it back if you change your mind. Billing stops straight away.
