Questions
Can you move my existing website?
Yes, and it's part of getting started. We copy the site, check it on a preview address, and switch your domain over at a quiet time you choose. Your old host keeps working until you cancel it.
Do I have to use WordPress?
No. We host WordPress, Ghost, plain HTML sites and custom builds. If you want to manage WordPress yourself, deploy it from the app marketplace instead.
What happens if my site goes down?
We get an alert within minutes and start fixing it. You can see the status in the portal, and if it was down for more than a few minutes we'll tell you what happened and what we changed.
How much traffic can my site handle?
The first 500 GB of website traffic a month are included for your account, then $0.01 per GB. Pages are cached at our edge, so a busy day doesn't slow the site down.
Can I update the site myself?
If it's WordPress or Ghost, yes: you get the admin login. For other sites, email us the change and we'll quote it first.
